CLA News / Call for Speakers for the 24th Commonwealth Law Conference 2025 Malta
The Papers Committee is delighted to share the Conference Program and to confirm that the call for speakers is now open for expressions of interest to join the international speaking faculty at this flagship event.
With 5 daily streams covering a broad range of topics on human rights and rule of law, the courtroom and beyond, corporate and and commercial law, legal practice and general interest, the program reflects the latest challenges, issues and trends faced by those in the profession within the Commonwealth. The over-arching theme of the conference is “Commonwealth Lawyers – fit for the future!”.
Important to note
- We expect speakers to present in person at the conference; we do not accept virtual or pre-recorded presentations.
- We ask all accepted speakers to cover their own registration, accommodation and travel costs. We offer a significantly reduced registration rate to the confirmed speakers and moderators.
Submission requirements
- Submit your proposal to secretariat@commonwealthlawyersevents.com with the subject line: 24th Commonwealth Law Conference 2025 Malta– Your Name
- Please ensure that you confirm the session title and program allocation number eg A1
- Submissions need to relate to a session topic that is already on the conference program. We will not consider new topic suggestions.
Speaker credentials
Please provide the following:
- Full name and contact details.
- Brief professional biography indicating relevant experience.
- We encourage you to share links to relevant articles, videos, recorded presentations, social media accounts, additional resources, testimonials, etc to support your submission.
