The CLA is offering 3 grants of up to a maximum of £2,000 each, to assist lawyers (under 40 or within 7 years of call) to attend the 24th Commonwealth Law Conference Malta, 6th-10th April 2025.

A prestigious date in the global legal calendar, the CLA anticipates that over 600 delegates will attend the Conference drawn from across the Commonwealth. The event is open to practicing lawyers, senior justice leaders of both national and regional law associations, members of the judiciary, government officials, representatives of civil society organisations, knowledge managers and emerging young legal talent.

With the overarching conference theme of “Commonwealth Lawyers – fit for the future!”, the five day event kicks off with a day for young lawyers on 6th April, and is followed by a four day program divided into five daily streams covering human rights, corporate and commercial law, legal practice, the judiciary and contemporary legal issues, with additional opportunities to network.
