Sustainable Justice – the Role of the Recently Qualified
Angelique Pouponneau is a lawyer (Seychelles and UK) and is Chief Executive Officer of the Seychelles’ Conservation and Climate Adaptation Trust. She is a trained climate change negotiator under the AOSIS Climate Change Fellowship Programme at the UN. Angelique has worked on a wide range of projects in the Caribbean, Pacific and Indian Ocean including those related to sustainable management of marine biodiversity and climate change.
Angelique will give us her perspectives on the contributions Recently Qualified can make towards sustainable justice through their practice and beyond. She will share what she has learnt and gained through her experiences at the Bar, in teaching and in the not for profit sector internationally.
