Desmond Israel ESQ

Desmond Israel is an accomplished technology lawyer and data privacy/cyber security practitioner. With 15+ years of experience, he is the founder of Information Security Architects Ltd (Rapid7 Gold Partner). Desmond also leverages his legal practice background as a consulting partner for Legal Afrique Unlimited. He was an adjunct on technology law and ethical hacking at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). Holding notable positions and affiliations, he was also a research fellow at the Center for AI and Digital Policy and Internet Security Alliance and currently leads research for the XReality Safety Intelligence in the United States of America.

Desmond holds an LL.M. in National Security and Cybersecurity as a GWLaw Merit Scholar, among various certifications. He contributes to expert roundtables and conferences and has conducted comparative legal analyses and co-authored research publications.
