Peggy ILU
Peggy, a dedicated Lawyer is on a promising path in Papua New Guinea’s legal landscape. She graduated from the University of Papua New Guinea in April 2022 with a Bachelor of Law and completed her post-graduate legal training at the Legal Training Institute in early 2023. Subsequently, she was admitted to practice at the National and Supreme Court of Papua New Guinea.
Currently employed with Leahy Lewin Lowing Sullivan Lawyers, Peggy is in her second year of practice. She has assisted partners, special counsels, senior associates, associates, and lawyers. Her professional expertise covers a wide range of commercial law areas, including but not limited to petroleum law, employment law, company law, banking and finance law, taxation law, cybersecurity law, anti-corruption law and property law.
Beyond her legal practice, Peggy actively mentors aspiring law students through the University of Papua New Guinea School of Law’s Law Students Society Mentorship Program. Her guidance focuses on enhancing their drafting, research, and professional skills, reflecting her commitment to shaping the next generation of legal professionals.
She is also a member of the Law Society of Papua New Guinea.
