Cyrus Das

Dato’ Cyrus Das (LLB (Hons); Ph.D is a senior legal practitioner at the Malaysian Bar.

He was Past President, Malaysian Bar Council from 1997 to 1999.  He is presently the Chairman of the LawAsia Constitutional & Rule of Law Committee.  He is also a Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Arbitrators; Adjunct Professor of Law, HELP University Kuala Lumpur.

He has authored and edited the following books:  Governments & Crisis Powers:  A Study of Emergency Laws (1996); Justice Through Law (Ed) 1997; Judges & Judicial Accountability (Co-Ed) 2004.
