John McKendrick KC
John was eductated at the LSE and Oxford University before being called to the Bar as a Major Scholar by the Inner Temple in 1999. He was appointed a part time tribunal judge at 34, was appointed standing counsel to the Advocate General in Scotland and was Treasury Counsel for the Attorney General in England. Her Majesty the Queen appointed him Queen’s Counsel in 2016 at the age of 39.
Between 2016 and 2018 he was the Honourable Attorney General of Anguilla. He works from Outer Temple Chambers in London in the areas of commercial, public and regulatory law. He is also qualified to appear before the Anguilla and BVI courts. He has appeared as counsel in many appellate courts including HM Privy Council, the UK Supreme Court and the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal.
